In order to effect a change, you first have to change something about yourself. This is why we attach such great importance to individual experience in our online course as well. At the start of the course, you and your tutor will take a relevant example from your professional or private life. Then you will work on this case to learn about the stages of change in a very hands-on way. During each phase, we provide background reading, ask pertinent questions and discuss various possibilities for action – so that the change will actually succeed.

At the same time, you benefit from sharing experiences with the other participants: How are you going about the transformation in specific terms? What resistance do you encounter along the way? What personal change patterns do you find? Our tutor creates a “sandbox” setting and allows you to benefit from their experience and knowledge – including good practices, appropriate methods and even mistakes they have made themselves when dealing with change processes. This course will help you to expand your range of skills and teach you how to actively initiate, lead and participate in change processes.

The training is intended for managers, project managers, HR officers, trainers and consultants who are involved in change projects in their organisations or who want to initiate and be actively involved in them. This course teaches you approaches for assessing change requirements, defining change goals as well as initiating and planning change projects. You reflect on the various stages of the gestalt cycle and use this model to work on your own change project step by step.

  • Stages of a change process (gestalt cycle of the change and learning)
  • Gestalt laws of perception, constructivism, reality constructs
  • Success factors for participants in change projects
  • The Beckhard and Gleicher energy formula
  • Structures that promote and stifle motivation
  • Planning methods for change projects
  • Recognising and dealing with different types of resistance
  • Requirements for change communication processes
  • Evaluation of change processes

This online training has a practical orientation and makes the procedure for change projects tangible to you. You will apply approaches and methods to yourself and your own change project. Our tutor is there to help answer all your questions and give one-on-one feedback. You also get to interact with the other course participants – in the discussion forum, in weekly online conferences or while working on optional group projects.

This training is conducted as an open course in German language only. If you want to participate, please register here.
