At a glance

  • We come to you – in Germany, elsewhere in Europe or around the globe.
  • We offer this training in German, French, Spanish or English
  • 1 to 3-day training (easily combined with self- and time management)
  • We start out by taking a look at your needs and the methods you are already using: What direction do you need to take? What’s challenging? Where do you need to see new momentum?
  • Depending on which methods are most appropriate, we add a second trainer for groups of at least 6 or 12.

Increasingly, organisations are seeking new, more flexible ways to collaborate. Agility is a common buzzword in this context – but what it actually means is often quite nebulous. We invite you to take part in a two-day training, to draw your own conclusions and to explore some specific agile applications for yourself. You’ll learn the basic concepts, try out a selection of methods and discuss whether and how these agile approaches translate into your own work context – and what other approaches might be needed.

Our training is designed for teams, managers and decision-makers in organisations who want to or should embrace more agile work methods in the future.

Participants gain an overview (according to their needs) of possible application areas calling for agility and agile methods. Learn various methods through playful exercises and reflect on mindsets, transfer opportunities and limitations. Ideally, we can work on real cases from your own organisation during the training or develop a “trial balloon” for applying agile methods to your own day-to-day work. Participants will return to their day-to-day work with more knowledge and confidence in using agile methods – and with specific ideas for implementation.

  • Introduction & overview: Why do we need agility? What does it actually mean? What’s really different about it?
  • Agility is an overarching set of principles.
  • Overview of methods: What methods exist, and what are they good for?
  • Levels of agility in organisations
  • Practical insights into the most common methods: Design thinking, Scrum, Kanban and OKR
  • Self-organisation for teams: preconditions, working methods and decision-making
  • Tools for promoting a shift towards an agile style of work
  • How to begin increasing agility within the organisation

After a preliminary assessment, we identify specific requirements in the area of agility and agile methods within your organisation. These requirements form the basis for our training concept: whether it’s a practice run of a design thinking scenario, trying out a Scrum development cycle or making decisions in self-organised teams – we tailor our trainings to meet your unique needs. We provide the most relevant theoretical background and start applying it to practical scenarios right away. We also address issues surrounding attitudes and culture – because agility is unlikely to improve unless agile methods are accompanied by an agile mindset.

Depending on the number of participants and your specific needs, we provide one, two or a whole team of trainers. We consider expertise and experience in the particular field but, more importantly we make sure the trainer is a good match for your organisation. Our motto: A good fit – with healthy dose of contrast.
