Ulrich Erhardt is convinced that the key challenge for organisations in the 21st century is to make effective changes. For 20 years an in 60 countries, Ulrich has used his competence and experience to guide organisations, teams and leaders in the process of change. His credo: Turning people into stakeholders. He sees himself as a sort of “midwife,’’ guiding organisations as they solve problems on their own.
Originally a social scientist with a focus in organisational psychology and sociology, Ulrich studied in Heidelberg, at Stanford and in Costa Rica; completed training in systemic organisational consulting; and became a certified assessor in European Foundation Quality Management (EFQM). From 2007 to 2009 he was professor of intercultural management at the School of Applied Management in Erding. Since 2012, he has been technical director of the postgraduate master’s programme in organisational development at the University of Kaiserslautern.
Ulrich is a partner at denkmodell and assists clients in various industries worldwide – including Pirelli Germany in leadership development, the KfW banking group in project management, and schools and networks in change management. Internationally he advises organisations such as the German International Cooperation (GIZ), the Center for International Peace Operations (ZIF), and Misereor, the German Catholic Bishops’ Organisation for Development Cooperation.
A still-unfulfilled life’s wish is to ski the Matterhorn from Italy to Switzerland with his three children.
