IDSC Organizational Development and Management Training in Egypt

The program combines organizational development and capacity building for the Egyptian Cabinet's "Information and Decision Support Centre" (IDSC), aiming at supporting IDSC staff in giving policy advice through a) the implementation of management training courses, and b) organizational development and consultancy of IDSC's human resource department.

• Implementation of interactive planning workshops.
• Development of a curriculum for the qualification of junior, middle, and senior management staff in face-to-face as well as online training courses.
• Development of learning materials.
• Implementation of management training courses in a blended-learning modus: 3 face-to-face training moduls which are supplemented by a virtual online training course (4 groups in 2007, 3 groups in 2008).
• Organiuzational development and consultancy for the human resource department.
• Benchmarking with organizations in Germany (1 study trip for IDSC staff in 2007, 2 study trips in 2008).
