Marcus Quinlivan was born in Hamburg and has German-American roots. As an organisational developer, trainer and facilitator, he has worked for many years on the international stage on process design, strategic development, project and quality management and monitoring systems. His clients include international civil society and public organisations. His geographical focal point is somewhere between Africa and Europe, where he manages and conducts complicated projects to strengthen institutions, promote staff development and establish civil society organisations.
Following his initial experience in youth work, he studied geography and sociology at Freiburg im Breisgau and shaped his tools of the trade as facilitator, trainer and team leader while a seminar leader in the ASA programme. Training to systemic consultant in organisations at the Wiesloch Institute for Systemic Consulting widened his consultancy repertoire.
Marcus Quinlivan joined denkmodell in 2007 after five years at consulting company in Freiburg. Starting from 2011 he is managing director of denkmodell.
He loves listening to old music, the head wind while cycling and the gastronomic delights of the sea.
